Laura & Andy
What a beautiful, unusual and quirky wedding!!! We began at the most fabulous quaint boutique bed and breakfast called Hayeswood Lodge where the glorious smell led me to find the bridal party enjoying breakfast!! A very relaxed morning and not many nerves so I moved on to the ceremony venue!!
When I arrived at The Papplewick Pumping Station I couldn’t believe how gorgeous this venue is!! Very industrial but Laura had literally filled the place with beautiful flowers in soft colours taking away the masculine edge and giving a feminine and pretty mix. So much to photograph in here and then Andy arrived in the red London Bus with the rest of the wedding party! While we waited for Laura to arrive there was no shortage of photograph opportunities and plenty of emotion and a slightly nervous looking Andy! The wedding ceremony was perfect, lots of tissues needed!!
Food was served with drinks for the guests while we took more photographs before leaving to go to Mapperley Farm and check out the huge marquee filled with more pretty flowers and vintage styling. The guests all arrived in the London bus to trays of Pimms filled with fruit. The afternoon was relaxed with BBQ food and into the evening a band arrived and the dancefloor was never empty, outside guests sat on hay bales around a fire with blankets to keep warm!! 🙂
